In late February of 2009, "Dr. Joe" traveled to Lahore, Pakistan for the Fourth International Cleft Symposium.  He was invited to the meeting by Smile Train, the world's leading cleft charity, to share his clinical expertise in the treatment of cleft lip and palate with the Pakistani medical community.
